I am the owner of Mustang #100211. I have owned this car since 1986. The car was originally purchased at Hull-Dobbs Ford in Winston-Salem, NC. The orignal owner was a doctor and I purchased the car from his daughter. I was in high school at the time and the car was not in good shape. I drove it for a while with intentions of restoring it. Then came college, work, marriage, and kids. The car was stored in 1992 with grand intentions and now here we are in 2011. I knew the car was a first day car when I bought it, however I never considered that #211 might be a low enough number to have much significance. While surfing the internet during the 2010 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale, I learned that it might be very significant. Currently this is the earliest known Mustang with a retail DSO.
